Why do we call this an academy instead of a conference?
Here's the reality: conferences are awesome - we love conferences!
However, you don’t always leave with what you need to be able to start the next day in your classroom. And time and resources are precious.
The EduProtocols Academies are intentionally designed to allow educators to enter the research-backed world of EduProtocols and be proficient nearly immediately--learning between 5 to 7 EduProtocols in 1 day or 9 to 11 over 2 days, with our unique hands-on approach that includes Smart Start and academic uses of each protocol.
Sample 1 Day Academy schedule at a glance
Format: Large MPR or audioritum with table rounds
Capacity: 150-200 maximum
Each high energy, hands on “in the round” session will feature an easy to adapt, highly developed and scaffolded series of classic EduProtocols with four originators/facilitators. We will be modeling these EPs from Smart Start through academic use - and ending with implementation. It’s like nothing else you’ve ever done in education.

- 8:30 AM - Show starts!
- 9:00-10:30 AM - Round One of EduProtocols in the round with the team
- 10:30-10:45 AM - Coffee and snacks
- 10:45 - 11:00 AM - EduProtocols: What the data says
- 11:00 - 12:30 PM - Round Two of EduProtocols in the round with the team
- 12:30 - 1:15 PM - Lunch Break
- 1:15 - 1:30 PM - EduProtocols and Brains
- 1:30 - 2:30 PM - Round Three of EduProtocols in the round with the team
- 2:30 - 2:45 PM - EduProtocols Changed My Life
- 2:45 - 3:30 PM - Build it and send off session
