What are EduProtocols?
EduProtocols are instructional frameworks aimed at engaging students in learning through the utilization of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity. EduProtocols are versatile instructional lesson frames that can be employed across a broad range of subjects and grade levels, from kindergarten to adult education.
The EduProtocols were created by Jon Corippo and Marlena Hebern to address the need for students to engage in deeper learning using technology as a tool instead of a consumption device. As a result, the protocols were born! And since then, thousands of classrooms has converted to student-centered instruction.
EduProtocols are not "one more thing"
EduProtocols are designed to support adopted curriculum while giving students feedback quickly. This supports better academic outcomes while saving teachers time in lesson planning and grading.
EduProtocols are adaptive
EduProtocol lesson frames are highly adaptable, enabling teachers to adjust them as the curriculum changes or students progress from one topic to another. After students have learned a particular lesson frame, teachers can then reuse that same frame with different content.
